Buzzards   self catering holiday cottage: sleeping 2 (plus cot) 

A conventional layout cottage with stairs to the first floor bedroom and bathroom; two low beams; easy access from adjacent car parking.

Rural location within the unspoilt countryside of the Uk's little known Exmoor National Park: a peaceful holiday cottage offering high comfort self-catering accommodation for 2 people with adequate space for a young child's normal single bed, or cot; immaculately presented and quiet with good sound insulation. It forms one end of the conversion of a traditional old Exmoor stone barn: old character, (ancient oak beams, uneven walls), combined with modern comforts, full central heating and log burner.  We have converted and equipped this, and the other cottage, as if we were going to live in it ourselves.

The living room's main features: Sitting Room Area: large old oak beams, radiator, carpeted floor, comfortable sofa, wooden rocking chair, digital flat TV, (Freesat), DVD player, small tables,  Log burner, (logs are provided free.)  Kitchen Area: cushion flooring, generous units, electric cooker, (electricity is included), microwave, fridge, smaller appliances and good range of quality cooking utensils, crockery and glassware.

Upstairs: Carpetted: via one turn staircase: landing and large bedroom, part sloping ceiling and old beams; cushion floor bathroom with power shower in double size cabinet.

Large double bedroom: sufficient space for a cot, or additional single bed, (if required for child under 5), TV point, (living room TV is portable), built in cupboard Window overlooks old grass and gravel farmyard, distant views to Dunkery Beacon, Cotton sheets, pollycotton duvet covers, all towels, soap, basics, included in the rental.  Off landing is: adjacent bathroom, (power shower in double size cabinet, w.c. basin, shaver point, heated towel rail), one turn stairs down to small entrance hall.

Outside: reasonable privacy, own terrace, shared use of orchard field with other cottage. 

	Summary: Exmoor cottage: Buzzards sleeping 2(+), non smoking, dogs by arrangement.  Terms from £235 to £350 per week, (short breaks also available), inclusive tariff.   Buzzards looks onto this old farmyard, the gable windows are one of the sitting room windows and the bedroom window. The entrance door into the small hallway is from the terrace.   Grading: Visit Britain 4 stars
